What is a featured collection section?

A Featured Collection Section is a prominent area on your website that highlights a curated selection of products or content. This section is designed to showcase specific items or categories with eye-catching images, brief descriptions, and links to individual products or pages. It aims to attract visitors' attention, promote particular items or content, and encourage exploration or sales in an organized and visually appealing manner.

Steps to Set Up a Featured Collection Section in Elegance Theme:

1. In the Shopify admin, navigate to Online Store > Themes and click Customize to access the theme editor.

2. Go to the template section and add the Featured Collection Section. Customization options will appear on the right side.

3. Enable the expand section width option to adjust the section's width according to your preferences.

4. Choose a color scheme from the available options and set the content position to your preferred layout.

5. Use the spacing slider to adjust the spacing above and below the header section for optimal alignment.

6. Optionally, configure theme settings and use custom CSS to apply unique styles that match your website’s design.

Adding and Customizing Blocks in the Featured Collection Section:

1. Add the collection content block within the Featured Collection Section.

2. Enter a heading for the section and adjust the heading size to small, medium, or large.

3. Provide a summary about the featured collection if desired, and enable the show summary option to display it.

4. Enable the view all products option if the product list is extensive.

5. Select a button style for the block.

6. Add the collection block and select the collection you want to display.

7. Choose the ratio of dimensions from the options: Adapt, Portrait, or Square-shaped.

8. Enable additional options such as preview another image on hover, highlight vendor, product rating, and quick view as needed.

9. Set the content alignment to left, center, or right based on your preferences.

10. Use the slider to manage the showable product limit and grid layout of the collections.

11. Choose the grid layout for the mobile interface and enable swipe on mobile if desired.

12. Optionally, apply custom CSS to further customize the appearance of the Featured Collection Section to align with your site’s branding.
