What is an Image Collage Section?
An Image Collage Section allows you to display multiple images in a structured grid layout on your website. It serves as a visually engaging way to showcase product images, lifestyle photography, or other visuals in a cohesive format. The section can be used to highlight featured products, collections, or brand imagery, providing an immersive visual experience for your customers.
Steps to Set Up an Image Collage Section:
1. In the Shopify admin, navigate to Online Store > Themes and click Customize to enter the theme editor.
2. Add the Image Collage Section by selecting it from the available section options.
3. On the right side of the editor, customize the settings for the Image Collage Section by choosing a color scheme from the available options to match your site’s aesthetic.
4. Select the ratio of dimensions for the images (Adapt, Portrait, or Square-shaped) based on the layout you prefer.
5. Define the grid layout by selecting how many images you want to display per row.
6. For the mobile interface, enable swipe functionality to allow easier navigation on mobile devices.
7. Adjust the section spacing using the upper and lower spacing sliders to control the padding above and below the image collage.
8. Optionally, add custom CSS for further customization of the Image Collage Section’s layout and appearance.
Adding Blocks to the Image Collage Section:
1. After adding the Image Collage Section, you can insert individual image blocks.
2. Upload an image or select one from the free image gallery.
3. Enter a heading and provide a brief summary for each image block if needed.
4. Add a button label and URL to create a clickable call-to-action that links to relevant pages or products.
5. Customize the content alignment (left, center, or right) and adjust the button style (Primary, Secondary, or Outline).
6. Repeat the process to add more images to your collage. Each image can be individually customized with its heading, description, and link.
