What is an announcement bar?
An announcement bar refers to a prominent section at the top of a website in the header group where important announcements, promotions, or notifications are displayed. It's a narrow horizontal banner that can be customized to convey time-sensitive information, such as special offers, upcoming events, new product launches, or any other important messages that the store owner wants to communicate to visitors. The announcement bar is a way to grab the attention of online shoppers and ensure they are aware of key information or promotions.
How to set up an announcement bar?
1. Navigate to the header group within the home page customization section on the left side in theme customization.
2. Within the header group, locate the announcement bar section.
3. Click on the announcement bar to access customization options, situated on the right side of the screen.
4. Choose the color scheme for your announcement bar from the four available options.
5. To display information in the announcement bar, input content in the provided field.
6. Customize the content further using options such as auto-generating text, making text bold, selecting heading size, italicizing text, adding a link to the content, and incorporating bullet or numbered lists.
7. Optionally, utilize the option to add custom CSS for incorporating unique styles to the section.
